Let the Sewing Begin!

I now have the sewing bug! I purchased a serger which allows me to make my seams look more professional and to give ruffles a triple-rolled hem like you see in the retail stores! Here are a few things I have been up to...and I have more patterns that I just haven't had time to sew yet!
Pillowcase dresses with a ruffle band are $30 which includes personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram. Sizes are 0-12 month, 12-24 month, 2T-5T, 6, 7, 8 and one little enough for your recipient's 16-18" doll (Doll Pillowcase dresses are $20 which includes personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram). See the tab "The Dress Shoppe" over to the right for approximate finished lengths to determine the size you will need.

I'm now making/offering made-to-match ruffle shorts for my applique tees! These come in Newborn, 6 month, 12 month, 18/24 month, 2T-6T sizes and for the remaining month of April they are only $10 (as of May 1st they will go back to regular price of $16).
What a perfect way to show off my new ruffle shorts than with this fun 3D pinwheel design and matching clips! Pinwheel shirts/onesies are $22 for short sleeves or $24 for long sleeves, matching pinwheel alligator clips/snap barrettes are $5 for one or $9 for an identical pair.

These can also be made to be capri pants...just add 3 inches to the approximate finished lengths above to gauge the size you will need.

Introducing the Diaper/Wipes Clutch...only $20 which includes a FREE hard case of Huggies wipes and FREE personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram. These are lined with no raw edges on the inside and have a fabric wrist strap. These also hold 1-2 diapers along with the wipes case...perfect for short trips to the store or the park when you don't want to carry around your entire diaper bag.

These cases are fully lined and have no exposed raw edges.

With my new machine I can do all sorts of fun new things like monogram an oven mitt! I found this set at Marshall's (L-O-V-E that store!). These would make great hostess, teacher, birthday and Christmas gifts!

I got a new machine!

Ta-Da! I got a 6-needle machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited and I am in L-O-V-E with my new machine. I got it only 1 short week ago so I'm still learning how to use this big honker. I'm now capable to do hats!

Okay, now on to what I've been up to...as you know I now make paci-clips and quilted wipes cases. The paci-clips are $6 and the wipes cases are $14. Through the end of June I will be offering a FREE paci-clip and wipes case with all baby set orders. That's a value of $20 for FREE!!
