I am a child of God, a wife, a mother of two and a stay-at-home mom. Raising our two children is the most important job to me...God just so happened to have blessed me with an interest and some spare time to start my own business.
You may be wondering why “The Raindrop Shoppe?” Well, as many of you know my last name is Raines. When we first found out that I was pregnant with our son, Jude, my husband lovingly nicknamed him “Raindrop” before we found out the gender. We continued this tradition when we found out we were pregnant again as Raindrop #2 with our daughter, Georgia. Both of my kids have been a huge inspiration to me in creating cute and fun things for them to wear.
I started doing embroidery/applique in January 2010 for my own children as well as friends and family. Soon my hobby turned into doing things for others by word-of-mouth and now I have my own business! So, here I am...with my own blog to show off my creations made for family, friends and some customers.
