Let the Sewing Begin!

I now have the sewing bug! I purchased a serger which allows me to make my seams look more professional and to give ruffles a triple-rolled hem like you see in the retail stores! Here are a few things I have been up to...and I have more patterns that I just haven't had time to sew yet!
Pillowcase dresses with a ruffle band are $30 which includes personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram. Sizes are 0-12 month, 12-24 month, 2T-5T, 6, 7, 8 and one little enough for your recipient's 16-18" doll (Doll Pillowcase dresses are $20 which includes personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram). I'm now making/offering made-to-match ruffle shorts for my applique tees! These come in Newborn, 6 month, 12 month, 18/24 month, 2T-6T sizes and for the remaining month of April they are only $10 (as of May 1st they will go back to regular price of $16).
What a perfect way to show off my new ruffle shorts than with this fun 3D pinwheel design and matching clips! Pinwheel shirts/onesies are $22 for short sleeves or $24 for long sleeves, matching pinwheel alligator clips/snap barrettes are $5 for one or $9 for an identical pair.

These can also be made to be capri pants...just add 3 inches to the approximate finished lengths above to gauge the size you will need.

I can hardly believe that school will start in just a few short weeks...where did the summer go???

Here is my own take on the Apple Alphabet for my daughter, Georgia...it's a pink apple, of course!

It's been awhile since my 4-year old son has requested a shirt, but he specifically asked for a red tee with a 4-wheeler. I think it turned out pretty cute, um, I mean "cool."

Below are my large zipper pouches...a friend requested them for her girls to use as pencil/supply pouches for school...what a great idea! I added a ribbon loop with a keychain holder so that they could attach it to their backpacks.

The following 26 shirts and 3 monograms (yes, you read that correctly!) are what I've been up to over the last couple of weeks...some of these were on my last post, but I'm including them again for dramatic effect, lol! These all belong to one of my customers that recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia...she came in for a visit and was very organized with her gift-giving list and Fall clothing line-up for her own two children...I think she's good until Christmas!

#3 is expected to arrive in October...no name yet or it would be listed here with her big sister's tees.

Yay! An Aggie design, finally! I just had to add a bow on the Football Alpha for Adalynn.

Monogrammed peanut burp cloths and quilted bibs only $12 a piece as shown in the next two pictures (Add a small applique for only $2 more to burp cloths and bibs). My quilted bibs best fit babies 0-6 months of age. Each piece shown below are backed with terry cloth for absorbancy; bibs are finished with a pearl-snap closure.
