Hello 2013!

Happy New Year to all my Raindrop Shoppe fans! If you're like me, then you're ready to get back into your routine. What a great year 2012 was for The Raindrop Shoppe...and with it came many, many changes...first off, I did not have my wisdom teeth removed in October as planned because we found out that I'm pregnant with Raindrop #3! I'm now 16 weeks along and due in June 2013. We also purchased and moved into a new home (new to us!)...we love it and are still getting used to it...it has an extra bedroom for the new arrival.

Now taking orders for Valentine's Day! Below are a few designs I stitched out last year. Let me know if you would like to place an order at: theraindropshoppe@gmail.com. I will be posting more Valentine's Designs on Facebook shortly.

On Vacation...

Welcome to The Raindrop Shoppe! I am on vacation until November 1st, 2012 and I will begin taking orders upon my return. I'm having my wisdom teeth removed Oct. 19th so I'm going to take some time to recover and a few extra days for a much needed break...and to catch up on sewing for my own two children.

It's about that time...back to school! Here are a few designs to get the school year started.

Check out my new Miss Muffet Twirl Skirt...I made this one for my 3-year old daughter for her first day of school outfit. These have built-in bloomers that hug the legs that prevent panty peaks! Is it already hot where you are???

It is hot here in Texas! I hope you enjoy looking at a few summer things I've been working on...they were a lot of fun to do!
These first few tees are for my favorite 2-year old nephew, Gus...or Gus-Gus as my kids like to call him.

Here's a fun new outfit I made for my daughter, Georgia: 3D Kite applique tank complete with hand-made matching ruffle shorts...I added the bows and ric rac trim on last...the ric rac even goes on to the back of the tank top. The shorts can be made for sizes Newborn to 6T.

Here are few bubble rompers that I've recently made...they are for Boys AND Girls, come in sizes 3 to 24 months, are fully lined, elastic at the legs, snap closure at the bottom for easy diaper changes and have covered buttons at the shoulders. $34 with one applique and/or name/monogram.

And lastly, my two newest patterns, a two-piece and one-piece swim suit!! These are hand-made, personalized, fully lined, elastic in the legs/waist/across the back and are made out of seersucker fabric. Order your two-piece suit for $38 which includes personalization and come in these sizes: 12 months to size 8. Seersucker colors available: Navy, Turquoise, Orange, Green, Light Pink and Fuschia (as shown).

Let the Sewing Begin!

I now have the sewing bug! I purchased a serger which allows me to make my seams look more professional and to give ruffles a triple-rolled hem like you see in the retail stores! Here are a few things I have been up to...and I have more patterns that I just haven't had time to sew yet!
Pillowcase dresses with a ruffle band are $30 which includes personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram. Sizes are 0-12 month, 12-24 month, 2T-5T, 6, 7, 8 and one little enough for your recipient's 16-18" doll (Doll Pillowcase dresses are $20 which includes personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram). See the tab "The Dress Shoppe" over to the right for approximate finished lengths to determine the size you will need.

I'm now making/offering made-to-match ruffle shorts for my applique tees! These come in Newborn, 6 month, 12 month, 18/24 month, 2T-6T sizes and for the remaining month of April they are only $10 (as of May 1st they will go back to regular price of $16).
What a perfect way to show off my new ruffle shorts than with this fun 3D pinwheel design and matching clips! Pinwheel shirts/onesies are $22 for short sleeves or $24 for long sleeves, matching pinwheel alligator clips/snap barrettes are $5 for one or $9 for an identical pair.

Introducing the Diaper/Wipes Clutch...only $20 which includes a FREE hard case of Huggies wipes and FREE personalization of one applique and/or name/monogram. These are lined with no raw edges on the inside and have a fabric wrist strap. These also hold 1-2 diapers along with the wipes case...perfect for short trips to the store or the park when you don't want to carry around your entire diaper bag.

These cases are fully lined and have no exposed raw edges.

BUSY BOOKS! These make great birthday gifts or big sister/brother gifts. I sell the zippered pouches for $16 with a monogram or $18 with an applique & name for you to put together your own Busy Book.
